Let’s stroll through the landscapes and stories that have shaped who I am.
Come Sit With Me…
There is a story
I know…
Remembering who I am... I am story.
A story of land and people. And how we are connected.
I am shaped by time and place. By lived experience. By relationships. By the stories people have trusted me with.
I invite you to come sit with me… Share in the listening. Share in the remembering.

A long time ago, a story was shared with me. A story that sees with the heart. This is my work. This is my gift.
Listening.
Holding.
Creating a sacred space.
Space for people to share their stories,
in a caring presence.

For over 40 years, I have had the privilege of sitting beside children, adults, families and communities as a mental health nurse and educator;
in homes, classrooms, mental health offices, hospital rooms and on the land,
in quiet conversation.
Listening for what is voiced
and for what is not.
Listening for what cannot yet be named.
Sitting beside people in their darkest moments.
It is here, in the dark
where we begin to sense the light within,
and we find a way forward,
even when fear is present.
Not alone.

Stories call to me.
I have become a story catcher…
Weaving threads of stories into webs of relationships.
My story, your story, our story.
Nesting.
Finding layers of meaning
in the journey from our heads to our hearts,
story by story.
Remembering.
Remembering the wisdom within.
In stories, I see potential for all of us.
From this place of remembering
comes a story about frogs.
A small story with a warm heart.
